We are excited to meet with you and share what we offer in fine oil portraits. Each portrait is painted with the finest non-toxic walnut oils, on a carefully prepared, premium Masterpiece canvas. Your painting is meant to be an heirloom piece, and with that in mind we do not merely reproduce a perfect likeness, but we seek to capture the essence of personality, so that you almost feel the real person might step off of the canvas at any moment.
We like to say we do “living portraits”. We specialize in those precious photographs which hold a memory, a moment in time especially dear to you. We can work with you to transform that photograph into a work of art.
Being an animal lover herself, Mary Whitefeather offers unique possibilities. Not only is she able to capture you or your loved-one’s own special personality on canvas, but that also of your beloved family pet. From kittens to dogs, to race-horses, bronco-busting, bull-riding, almost anything you might want is possible. If you have a favorite truck, a motorcycle, something you want immortalized with you in your portrait, this is also possible. The process may perhaps begin with a photo shoot if you do not already have your heart set upon a certain photograph. Not all photographs are suitable for a portrait. However, Mary loves to make what you have set your heart upon a reality, so if it is at all possible she will work with you. Prices vary according to size and the number of subjects involved..
All prices listed are based on the size of canvas. Prices are generated by the square inch of the canvas. Pet portraits are not listed here as they vary greatly, and are significantly less expensive. Every job is different and unique in its own way. Mary will meet with you and then we will be able to form a more perfect understanding of what we can offer you and the total cost. Mary can paint any back-ground you desire, can change any background to your portrait, mixing photographs (when suitable), easily adding any additional subjects you may desire.
